Trick Williams Shines On WWE SmackDown As He Overcomes Former World Champion

WWE SmackDown was scheduled to seal the penultimate spots in both Elimination Chamber matches tonight after the show hosted two more qualification matches tonight.

The first of two qualifiers saw Kiana James defeat Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax, earning her a shock win which sealed her spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

The second qualifier was scheduled for the Men’s Chamber match, which saw Damian Priest take on the United States Champion, Carmelo Hayes, and his friend-turned-foe, Trick Williams.

All three men gave it their all in the match to seal the fifth spot for themselves. The match saw Hayes and Trick face off against each other for the first time on the main roster.

Both men got plenty of opportunities to face each other in one-on-one action as they kept taking Damian Priest out of the equation. Melo went close to winning the match on multiple occasions, but it wasn’t hit night.

He went for a Nothing But Net on Trick, but was taken out with an elbow smash from Priest. He picked him up for the Razor’s Edge, but before he could execute the move, Williams hit him with two Trick Shots to pin the former World Champion and qualify for WWE Elimination Chamber.
