Trey Miguel Earns Spot In IMPACT Over Drive’s X-Division Championship Match

Trey Miguel

Trey Miguel is headed to IMPACT Wrestling’s Over Drive pay-per-view for a shot at the IMPACT X-Division Championship, however, his earned spot is surrounded by controversy.

On the November 10, 2022 edition of IMPACT Wrestling, Trey Miguel and Mike Bailey would square off in a semi-finals bout in the X-Division Tournament, with both sides going back-and-forth throughout. During the match, Kenny King came out to interfere and attack Trey Miguel, which would cost Mike Bailey an opportunity to win back the IMPACT X-Division Championship.

With Bailey, he has multiple wins against King, including one in the X-Division Tournament.

The finals of the IMPACT X-Division Tournament will take place at IMPACT Over Drive, scheduled for Friday, November, 2022, when a new champion will be crowned.

In other major developments from Thursday’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Joe Hendry would square off against Brian Myers for the IMPACT Digital Media Championship, with Hendry taking the title away from the current champion.

Similar to the X-Division Tournament semi-finals match between Miguel and Bailey, where King would come out to interfere, Joe Hendry would also have to deal with an interference from Matt Cardona. Luckily for him, however, reigning IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Heath and Rhino would take Cardona out of the equation, letting Hendry lock up the title.
