Top Star Blasts CM Punk For WWE 2K26 Video Game Cover
One of CM Punk’s greatest WWE rivals isn’t happy about the World Champion being on the next video game cover.
CM Punk is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and will also be on the cover of the WWE 2K26 video game.
It’s a huge honor for Punk, who has been on the cover of the game in the past (WWE ’13), but now he’s on the cover after coming back to WWE following a decade away from the company.
As the World Heavyweight Champion on the Raw brand, Punk has been a fighting champion to start 2026 as he picked up wins over Bron Breakker and Finn Balor on Raw.
When CM Punk faced AJ Styles on Raw this past Monday, they had an entertaining 20-minute match that ended prematurely when Gunther ruined it.
Seth Rollins Is Not A Fan Of CM Punk Getting WWE Video Game Cover
While Punk is working hard to prove he’s the “Best in the World” in WWE again, former 6-time WWE World Champion Seth Rollins told Gaming Bible that he doesn’t like the decision to put Punk on the cover of the WWE 2K26 video game.
“I never feel like CM Punk is the right choice to be the representative of anything that has to do with this business and this company. But it’s not my decision, it’s not my sandbox, and these aren’t my toys.
I don’t get to make those calls, but it is what it is. If they think they can sell video games with CM Punk on the cover? Go for it.”
CM Punk is not in a match at the WWE Royal Rumble on January 31st, but he is going to be part of the Countdown Show.
