Tony Khan Could Sign WWE’s Biggest Star For $25 Million

Former WWE Undisputed Champion’s WWE contract ends in May.

It goes without saying that TKO will offer The OTC a new contract, and one that works in Reigns’ favour.

He had claimed that he would work in the wrestling industry for a couple more years before moving to a less physical form of entertainment. He has already begun his transition to Hollywood.

AEW is probably WWE’s biggest competitor. Some of the names that shifted from WWE to AEW and back are CM Punk and Cody Rhodes. On the other hand, Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks) is still with AEW, and only recently did Chris Jericho’s AEW contract expire.

So, if Reigns were to not renew his contract and move to AEW, how much is Tony Khan willing to pay him?

On The Coach and Bro, Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo discussed this, and the amount if quarter of a billion dollars.

Coachman: By the way, Vince, how much money, if Roman walked out in May and he went to Tony Khan’s house and knocked on the door and said, “hey, let’s talk.” What do you think the number would be that Tony would be willing to pay a Roman Reigns for lets say 20 appearances a year?

Russo: I’d say easily 25 Million dollars.

It would be helpful to know that Roman Reigns’ current WWE contract fetches him $15 Million.
