A top star on the ROH brand has expressed confidence in Tony Khan finding a home for the ROH brand.

It was announced in March 2022 that AEW’s billionaire Owner, GM, and Head of Creative Tony Khan had purchased the Ring of Honor brand.

At the time, ROH was barely hanging on, but they also have a rich library that goes back over 23 years features some big names in pro wrestling who worked there like Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Adam Cole, Kevin Owens (as Kevin Steen), Sami Zayn (as El Generico), The Young Bucks, The Hardys and many more.

Since Khan bought ROH, it has become a weekly television/streaming show that airs only on WatchROH.com for people willing to pay $10 monthly to watch it when it airs on Thursdays. While having a place for ROH to air is a good thing, it’s not known how many people watch ROH weekly. The brand also has a few PPVs in a year as well.

The current ROH brand is being built around former WWE and AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, who is a two-time ROH World Champion.

Chris Jericho Believes Tony Khan Is Fully Invested In ROH

While talking to TV Insider about the ROH brand, Chris Jericho praised Tony Khan for how much he cares about the ROH brand. Jericho also claimed that Khan was working on a couple of offers for the ROH brand to find a home for it.

“I think the fact Tony Khan put the title on me again is because Chris Jericho as the Ring of Honor World Champion, streaming platforms might pay more attention to it. I know Tony is working on that and has a couple of offers.

I don’t know if they are offers he wants. I think he wants to try and expand those offers. I’m a thousand percent sure that he will continue to work to get a streaming deal because when he sets his mind on something, he usually makes it happen. He has invested fully in the Ring of Honor brand and product.

I have no doubt there will be a bigger platform for Ring of Honor at some point.”

The ROH shows are usually taped before AEW Collision, which airs on Saturdays. It was in late December 2024 when Chris Jericho claimed that Tony Khan had a plan for ROH without revealing what that plan was.
