Seth Rollins Buries Roman Reigns Ahead Of WWE SummerSlam 2026

Seth Rollins made his animosity for Roman Reigns known before their SummerSlam 2026 match.

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns made their WWE debut at the same time as members of The Shield. As the group grew more powerful, Rollins turned on them and aligned with The Authority.

This move hasn’t sat right with Roman Reigns ever since, and the two men have been at odds with each other ever since. They have not wasted an opportunity to fire shots at each other over the years. Rollins was instrumental in helping Cody Rhodes defeat Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Now, after The OTC won the World Title again, Rollins is standing in his way. These two stars are set to lock horns at SummerSlam 2026. Things got heated between them during the contract signing for the match, and Rollins laid out The OTC with the Stomp. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Rollins tried to ambush Reigns from behind again. However, Jalen Brunson distracted The Visionary, allowing Reigns to capitalize and hit the Superman Punch followed by the Spear.

Seth Rollins is fed up with Roman Reigns

Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, Seth Rollins made it clear that he is annoyed that Roman Reigns always asks people to acknowledge him. He asked what kind of validation Reigns is seeking from the fans. He even said it is time to move on from The OTC.

“What are we doing here? How much acknowledgment does this guy need? How much do we need to put a finger in the air and acknowledge Roman Reigns? What is this? What kind of validation are you seeking sir? How much do you really need? “Like, come on. Get over it. We get it. Tribal Chief, Head of the Table, yada yada yada. You got the teeth, it’s all there. Seth Rollins didn’t hold back when discussing Roman Reigns’ continued demand for acknowledgment, questioning why Reigns still craves validation after everything he’s accomplished.
