Tony Khan Challenged By Top NJPW Star

One of NJPW’s biggest stars isn’t happy with Tony Khan.

At NJPW Dominion, EVIL will challenge Jon Moxley for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title. The rivalry between the pair has been growing with Moxley vowing to rid New Japan Pro-Wrestling of the House of Torture, while EVIL attacked the AEW star at Resurgence.

Despite not being President of NJPW, EVIL has taken on the mantle to lay down an unlikely challenge to Tony Khan.

In a new interview with Tokyo Sports, the star said he wants to go face-to-face with Khan at Forbidden Door in June.

“You’re doing whatever you want, and I’m not going to stand by and watch. Don’t act like you’re an equal to me, the president of an organization that’s not that big. My company and your company are not of the same caliber. You don’t seem to know your place, so I’ll give you a lesson. You can stand in front of me (at Forbidden Door). Next time you won’t be wearing a corset. You and I are on different levels,”

Could Tony Khan Wrestle In AEW?

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Tony Khan didn’t fully rule out getting in the ring himself. Although the AEW boss did admit it would be highly unlikely.

Khan’s comments came as his issues with The Elite continue to grow after being attacked on the April 24th episode of AEW Dynamite. Since then, The Elite have also attacked Kenny Omega, before The Young Bucks fired Christopher Daniels.
