Toni Storm Compares Defeat To Unusual Baby-Making Technique

Toni Storm has offered a unique take on a recent tag team defeat.

The New Zealand born star has been at the forefront of the AEW Women’s Division since debuting her goldena age of Hollywood themed ‘Timeless’ persona in October 2023.

A record equalling third capture of the AEW Women’s World Championship followed at AEW Full Gear on 18th November with victory over Hikaru Shida before successful high profile title defences against Riho and Deonna Purrazzo cemented Storm’s place at the top of the division.

A rare defeat came on the 20th March edition of AEW Dynamite, however, when Storm joined forces with Mariah May to battle Thunder Rosa and Deonna Purrazzo. Storm would ultimately be pinned by Rosa to seal the upset.

Speaking during an AEW Digital Exclusive following the bout, Storm offered a rather interesting take on the loss to partner Mariah May, in particular being pinned by Thunder Rosa:

“Child, you’re a flower in bloom. It’s not your fault if the soil smells like sh*t.

Congratulations, Thunder Rosa. You managed to get the better of me when I was phoning it in. This is the best day of your life, but for me, it’s just Wednesday.

You pinning the champion in a tag team match is like trying for a baby with a diaphragm in. Speak, child.”

Toni Storm Praised By Legendary Star

Storm’s current persona has met with rave reviews across the wrestling world including the highest of praise from an in-ring legend.

Current AEW star and former WWE Intercontinental Champion Dustin Rhodes revealed his love for the gimmick and offered comparisons to his own Hollywood character, Goldust.
