Major Update On Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Future After Knee Injury

Tiffany Stratton

The WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton’s health status has been updated after a brutal attack on SmackDown.

It has been a breakout year for WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, who won the championship on the first SmackDown episode of the year and has held the title for over 280+ days.

Along the way, Stratton has beaten all challengers, including former champions like Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. Tiffany Stratton also beat the Queen of the Ring, Jade Cargill, at SummerSlam in a match where Cargill claimed Stratton was lucky about a rope break.

The only singles match loss that Stratton suffered this year was at Crown Jewel when she lost to the Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, who was rewarded with the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.

At WWE SmackDown in Tempe, Tiffany Stratton beat Kiana James in a non-title match. Stratton won clean with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.

After the match, Jade Cargill helped Stratton when Giulia and James tried to attack the champion. However, Cargill was also there to turn on Straton because Cargill hit the champ with a clothesline. The fans booed loudly as Cargill turned heel. Cargill also stomped on Stratton’s left knee while it was up against the steel steps.

Later on SmackDown, Cargill said she wasn’t worried about the consequences of her action.

“Consequences? You only face them when you make mistakes. The only mistake I made was thinking that this world rewards patience. It rewards power. And I’m taking it, starting with the WWE Women’s Championship.”

Meanwhile, on social media, Jade Cargill claimed it wasn’t a turn; it was her takeover.

Tiffany Stratton Still Wants To Compete At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

Following the attack on WWE SmackDown, it was announced that at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1st, Tiffany Stratton will defend the WWE Women’s Title against Jade Cargill.

On social media, WWE updated Tiffany Stratton’s health status by stating that the Women’s Champion would still compete at Saturday Night’s Main Event even though she has a knee injury.

BREAKING NEWS: @tiffstrattonwwe is getting her knee evaluated, but reports are that Tiffany Stratton is adamant about going through with the match on #SNME. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

The knee injury is likely just part of the storyline to credit Cargill for weakening the champion.
