Tiffany Stratton Secures Big WWE Title Opportunity on WrestleMania SmackDown

The WrestleMania edition of WWE SmackDown had some exciting matches on offer, some of which had huge championship implications. The fans saw the WWE Tag Team Championships defended on the show.

Damian Priest and R-Truth defended their titles against the New Day before a new number one contender was crowned just hours before WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

Former WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has been without a title since losing it to Jade Cargill at November’s Saturday Night’s Main Event. With Cargill occupied with Rhea Ripley for the time being, Tiffy turned her attention to another title.

Tiffany Stratton to challenge the WWE Women’s US Title

She has recently been involved in a rivalry with the Women’s United States Champion, Giulia, and her associate, Kiana James. Tiffy was recently defeated by Giulia in a non-title match as well.

Given their history, Tiffany was scheduled to face Jordynne Grace in a number one contender’s match for the title as the champ sat on ringside. Stratton dominated most of the bout as she put in a dominant performance against another former World Champion.

Stratton ultimately won the match after hitting a rolling fireman’s carry slam and following it up with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to get the win. She started with Giualia following her win and told her that she’s coming for her title.
