Tiffany Stratton Reveals Character Change Plans Ahead Of WWE SmackDown
Tiffany Stratton hints at a potential character change ahead of WWE SmackDown.
The Buff Barbie is set to compete in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on February 28. She earned the first spot in the match by defeating Chelsea Green and Lash Legend on the February 6 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. This week’s SmackDown will serve as the go-home show ahead of the premium live event.
Tiffany Stratton recently appeared on the February 25 episode of No Contest Wrestling, where she was asked about her on-screen character and whether she currently sees herself as a heel, a babyface, or something in between.
Tiffany Stratton Feels She Needs A Character Change
Stratton responded by saying she is simply being herself. She added that she feels her character has become a bit “stale” over the past year and that she wants to refresh it by leaning more into her heelish side and adding more “spice”, something she believes fans will enjoy:
“That’s a really good question. I’m kind of just me. And honestly, for the past year, I felt a little stale. After I won the title, there weren’t really any crazy storylines, and I could feel that.”
“So I want to bring back some spunk. We’re going to lean into a little more heel-ish Tiffany — add a little spice. We’re going to play around with some things, so I’m excited about that. But yeah, I’m not really sure why the crowd cheers me when I’m giving off a heel-ish kind of vibe. You know what I mean?”
At Elimination Chamber, Tiffany Stratton will step inside the unforgiving steel structure alongside Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Kiana James, and Raquel Rodriguez. The winner will earn a WWE Women’s Championship match against Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42.
