A huge status update regarding The Young Bucks has been revealed following their loss at AEW Full Gear.

The AEW Vice Presidents took to the squared circle to battle Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho, collectively known as The Golden Jets, at the huge 18th November event at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

The duo came up short in the contest and lost their future AEW Tag Team Championship opportunity in the process. It was not a result that went down well with the brothers who tore apart the ringside area in the aftermath.

With rumours abound that a heel turn is in the works, fellow AEW star Brandon Cutler took to social media site ‘X’ to reveal that both Matt and Nick Jackson would be taking time away from the ring:

“I am being told that the Young Bucks will be taking some time away from wrestling. People close to Matt and Nick’s camp are asking for privacy during this time.”

Which Huge Name Signing Was Announced At AEW Full Gear?

The Young Bucks losing their future title opportunity was not the only noteworthy event at AEW Full Gear.

With the Jackson brothers set to spend time away from the company, somebody who will soon be setting foot in an AEW ring is new signing Will Ospreay.

The highly rated British Star signed his new AEW contract in the ring, whilst also revealing that he would fulfil the remainder of his contract with NJPW. Ospreay’s deal with the Japanese company is set to expire in February 2024.
