Update On The Street Profits Amid Prolonged WWE Absence
An update has been given about why The Street Profits have been off WWE television for several months.
The Street Profits duo of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are former 3-time WWE Tag Team Champions, who also held the NXT Tag Team Titles.
For the past decade. Ford and Dawkins have been a cohesive unit that has shown no signs of breaking up. They have also been one of the most popular tag teams of their era since they have been babyfaces for the majority of their WWE run.
In recent months, Ford and Dawkins have been absent from WWE television. The Street Profits last match on television took place on the October 10th edition of SmackDown when they lost a WWE Tag Team Title match against the Wyatt Sicks championship duo of Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy.
WWE Gave The Street Profits Time Off
While the tag team division on SmackDown had a lot of depth in 2025, it was also so loaded that many of those teams were taken off television for months at a time.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, neither member of The Street Profits is hurt. It was reported that WWE pulled them from television for the past three months to give their act a creative reset.
Montez Ford is married to WWE superstar Bianca Belair, who has been out of action since last April due to broken fingers, so his time off has coincided with hers.
Considering The Street Profits have been together in WWE for the past decade, many fans have wondered if they would ever split up. Ford was even rumored to be the masked man helping The Vision at one point, but that turned out to be not true, and Austin Theory was the guy in that spot.
There’s no indication as to when The Street Profits will return to WWE television.
