The Rock Finally Breaks Silence After Damaging Loss

The Rock WWE Bad Blood

The Rock has suffered a tough loss, and now he’s issued his first public comment about it.

The Rock was last seen in WWE back at Elimination Chamber in 2025, where he presided over John Cena’s shocking heel turn. Questions have been asked about The Rock’s commitment to WWE as he took his leave while Cena’s heel turn flopped.

Away from the ring, The Rock’s newest movie, The Smashing Machine, was released to critical acclaim. Despite the biopic of early UFC star Mark Kerr bombing at the box office, it did earn the man known to Hollywood as Dwayne Johnson a Golden Globe nomination and generated significant Oscar buzz.

However, at the Golden Globes, The Rock missed out with Timothée Chalamet picking up the award for his role in Marty Supreme.

The Rock Has Already Won In Life

Taking to social media, The Rock shared a video from after the Golden Globes, where he showed his family the note from his daughter he planned on pulling out if he won:

After dinner and before dessert, I felt compelled to share a few words of my own – and show my family the note I was planning on pulling out of my pocket if my name was called, and I was standing on that stage. It was a note written from my 10-year-old daughter, Jazzy, given to me that morning of the Globes. ‘If you can dream, you can do it.’ It’s the little things in life – like this note from my kid, or having my family all together like this, that reminds me that I’ve already won.

The Rock added the caption:

That said…One day, I hope to have the honor of my name being called, and standing on a stage, where I can pull this note out and read it to the world as our powerful reminder ~ If you can dream it, you can do it. Then I’ll grab my family, we’ll go drink tequila and stuff our faces with desserts all night long, making a complete mess of ourselves. F*%# it 😂🥂👊🏾 And thank you ALL your INCREDIBLE & INSPIRING SUPPORT as I humbly journey down this long, windy road. Thanks for having my back, as I’ll always have yours. Onward and back to work
