The Hurt Syndicate Refusing To Lose In AEW

The Hurt Syndicate AEW

A new report has shed light on who The Hurt Syndicate have refused to lose to in AEW and which member of the group is upsetting people backstage.

The Hurt Syndicate have dominated AEW since forming in the company, with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin holding the AEW Tag Team Championship.

Tony Khan’s company has had no shortage of backstage issues in the past, but with things now more settled, it seems MVP is causing issues that are not welcomed by the rest of the locker room.

The Hurt Syndicate Causing AEW Frustration

Fightful Select has shed light on some issues regarding The Hurt Syndicate that have come to light backstage in AEW over the past few months. It was noted that claims MVP has rubbed people the wrong way, resulting in heat from others in the company.

It’s apparently well known backstage that MVP does not like Speedball Mike Bailey, and he made it very clear he did not want Lashley and Benjamin losing to JetSpeed. Talent is said to have claimed the locker room is in the best state it’s been in years, and generally just dismisses issues.

As far as creative pitches for The Hurt Syndicate, there have been claims from within AEW that the team refused to lose to FTR at both All In and Forbidden Door. Instead, MVP is said to want a younger team, such as The Outrunners, Private Party, or the Gates of Agony, to be the ones to beat them for the AEW Tag Team Championship. It was also noted they’d have been open to losing to Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay, but Ospreay’s injury issues put that idea to bed.

It was noted within AEW that the teams mentioned are ones The Hurt Syndicate have already beaten. There is said to be frustration with the team that they are meant to be heels, but they do cool moves, beat up everyone and high five with fans at ringside.

As far as MJF’s role with the group, it was meant to last longer than it has, but there is no backstage heat between MJF and the rest of The Hurt Syndicate.
