Stone Cold Steve Austin To Target Ex-WWE Champion At WrestleMania?

WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin

With WrestleMania 42 coming in April, speculation is rampant about possible surprise returns of WWE legends, one of whom could be Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Stone Cold Steve Austin last performed in WWE at WrestleMania 38 in 2022 in a match against Kevin Owens. He appeared at WrestleMania 41 to announce the attendance.

Austin said in an appearance on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight podcast earlier this year that he won’t be returning to the ring for a match, even though he thinks he could go for another round.

He is slated to appear on WWE: World, which will air in the week leading up to WrestleMania in Vegas this year.

Dave LaGreca and Tommy Dreamer Discuss Stone Cold’s Possible Return

On the Busted Open Podcast, WWE Hardcore legend Tommy Dreamer and David LaGreca discussed the possibility of Stone Cold making an appearance at WrestleMania 42 since he is sure to be on WWE: World.

LaGreca says having legends return may be the big splash the show needs. Dreamer added, saying Former United States Champion Austin Theory (of The Vision) can take a good stunner.

I hope so. It’s a perfect spot anytime. And I said Austin Theory takes an amazing stunner as well. (5:49 onwards)

Fans would love to see Stone Cold light up The Showcase Of The Immortals with his presence.
