Violent Stipulation Added To MJF vs Mark Briscoe For AEW All Out (Spoiler)
MJF and Mark Briscoe will settle their differences at AEW All Out.
On the September 6 edition of Collision, MJF made a surprise return to AEW just 24 hours after getting married. In the main event, the star appeared from nowhere to stop Mark Briscoe from beating Konosuke Takeshita. If Briscoe won, he would have earned a TNT Title shot.
MJF and Briscoe have been locked in a feud for several months, and again came to blows after the match. When the pair were pulled apart, ‘The Salt of the Earth’ said Briscoe could name his time, place, and stipulation for a match. Briscoe said he wanted the match at All Out, but wasn’t ready to confirm the stipulation.
Mark Briscoe And MJF Will Go To War
On the following episode of Dynamite, MJF again took aim at Briscoe via a series of somewhat colourful comments about his wife, Alicia Atout. In a short vignette, the former AEW World Champion said he’d told Atout there would be no honeymoon because he needs Briscoe dead.
And just as I started twisting that doorknob, she screams out, ‘If you leave right now, we’re done!’ You know what I said, Mark? I said ‘You silly litte b*tch, I was married way before I ever met you. I am married to the game! I am married to hate! I am married to vengeance! I am married to ending you, Mark Briscoe.
Although the star was clearly in character, that didn’t stop eyebrows being raised online.
Fast forward to the September 13 edition of Collision, and the show opened with an interview between Ian Riccaboni and MJF. During the segment, Mark Briscoe appeared on the big screen and said he wanted to face his hated rival in a Tables and Thumbtacks No DQ Match.
