Sting Comments On His Final LA Match At AEW Full Gear

Sting has sent a message to the California fans that gave him a rousing send-off at AEW Full Gear.

Sting revealed that his legendary career will come to an end at AEW Revolution in 2024 meaning each match between now and then gives fans a chance to pay tribute to The Icon.

At AEW Full Gear, it was fans in Los Angeles, California – the state where The Stinger grew up – that were given the chance to bid their farewells to the Hall of Famer. Sting teamed with Adam Copeland and Darby Allin to defeat the trio of Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne, keeping up his undefeated record in the company.

Taking to social media, Sting thanked the fans in attendance for their support and noted that having his son watching on from ringside made the experience extra special:

Thank you again, LA, for all of the memories over all of the years! I’m going to miss you all. How great it was to have @StevenBorden85 with me at #AEWFullGear! The cherry on top.

When Will Sting’s Last AEW Match Take Place?

Fans know that Sting’s final bout will be at Revolution but AEW has yet to confirm the date or location of that show. In 2023, Revolution took place on the 5th of March in San Francisco, California but it remains to be seen if The Icon has one more bout in the Golden State before calling it a career.
