Stalker Claims To Be Married To Alexa Bliss; Threatens Husband’s Life
WWE star Alexa Bliss and musician Ryan Cabrera have been married since April 2022.
While their lives have been adequate owing to their respective careers and a baby girl born in 2023, the duo went through a harrowing experience at one point that involved a stalker and death threats.
Ryan Cabrera Details Stalker Experience Over Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss’ partner, Ryan Cabrera, recently sat down with Joel Madden, where he shared receiving numerous death threats from his wife’s stalker a few years ago. The American singer claimed that the stalker believed that he was married to Bliss.
The amount of death threats I’ve gotten since that — really, especially in the beginning. And a lot of it… about three years ago we actually had to get a stalker put in jail. It took over a year to make it happen. But he was showing up at our house, on the front lawn.
The man even sent messages to the couple claiming that Cabrera had stolen money from him.
I was getting all these death threats on Instagram, and a lot of them got way too detailed — like where we lived and all these things. He thought he was married to Alexa. He was clearly an unwell person. Something was going on. From what he said, he had sent over $400,000 somewhere — who knows where. And he thought it was me catfishing him or something, like I got all this money. He was saying things like, ‘We’re not actually married, Hendrix isn’t my kid,’ or whatever. It was crazy.
He even revealed that the stalker once knocked on their door when Alexa Bliss was home. While she did not open the door, the security camera showed it was the same man.
Eventually we found video footage and it was him. I came straight home, got inside, and called the police. He wouldn’t leave — he just sat down on the lawn across the street. This was in Florida. It was the same guy sending all those death threats.
The 43-year-old revealed that the threats continued when they moved to Los Angeles, prompting the involvement of the police, who later caught the perpetrator.
But nobody takes it seriously until it’s too late. I was even getting messages about it at the LA house. He found the address and was saying, ‘I’m coming to your house.’ I had the chief of police come to the house. You can’t play around with that. You never know what someone might do. Eventually they caught him and dealt with it, but it’s scary. Especially once you have a kid. Our daughter was a baby at the time, and my wife could have been holding her when opening the door and been face to face with this guy.
For Cabrera and Alexa Bliss, it was another reminder of people’s obsession with the things they make-believe.
That’s the scary part about this world sometimes. People get twisted. They start thinking things like, ‘You stole our girl,’ and you’re like, ‘Wait, what?’ We’re married. It’s crazy how twisted it can get.
After being away for two years, Alexa Bliss returned to WWE during the 2025 Royal Rumble event. She is currently involved in a tag team scenario with Charlotte Flair.
