Shinsuke Nakamura has broken his silence on the events that took place at the end of WWE Raw.

The main event of the August 7th broadcast saw Nakamura blindside Seth Rollins with a Kinshasa following the duo and Cody Rhodes winning a 6-man match against The Judgment Day.

In a follow-up post on social media, The King of Strong Style quoted the video of the attack on Rollins with a picture of a katana.

The originally scheduled match was meant to be Rollins and Rhodes teaming with Sami Zayn to take on Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio. Following Zayn being taken out by JD McDonagh in the backstage area, The Visionary and The American Nightmare were left without a partner.

Rollins accepted his fate, having to face The Judgment Day at a disadvantage and not being able to trust his former rival. Nakamura interrupted the interview, requesting his services to be the replacement.

The makeshift trio looked to have the match won, but once again the numbers game proved to be costly. As Ripley distracted the referee, Priest struck Rhodes in the back with the Money in the Bank Briefcase. Not being able to watch from the sidelines any longer, Sami Zayn would return to the ringside area, getting even with Priest. Rhodes then hit a Cross Rhodes onto Balor to give the victory to the team.

Has Shinsuke Nakamura Won The WWE Royal Rumble?

Entering the Royal Rumble match at the number 14 position, Nakamura would go on to win the Battle Royal, last eliminating Roman Reigns. The former Intercontinental Champion went on to challenge AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 34 in a losing effort. Following the defeat, Nakamura would turn heel, striking Styles with a low blow.

One former Superstar does see the potential in Nakamura, envisioning him as a future World Champion.
