Sasha Banks and Naomi No Longer On WWE’s Internal Roster

Sasha Banks and Naomi

In another indication that Sasha Banks and Naomi are done with WWE, a new report claims their names have been removed from the internal roster.

Sasha Banks and Naomi have been absent from WWE programming since the 16th June edition of Monday Night Raw, where reports claim that they handed over their Women’s Tag Team Championship belts to John Laurinaitis before walking out. They have since been stripped of their championship status.

There has been no official statement from either of the wrestlers or WWE themselves confirming the release, although there has been plenty of speculation that it has happened. The most recent report also went so far as to confirm when Sasha Banks was quietly let go by the company.

According to a new update from Mike Johnson at Pro Wrestling Insider he comments that whilst there is still no official confirmation of their releases, both superstars have been removed from the internal roster.

Johnson also comments that there have been plenty of “rumblings” that the release has taken place, and also that Sasha Banks will be making public appearances outside WWE in the Autumn.

On the night the pair walked out, Sasha Banks and Naomi had been originally set to take part in a six-pack challenge to determine the number one contender to the Raw Women’s Championship held by Bianca Belair. After a quick rewrite, Asuka took on Becky Lynch in singles action.

Both Sasha Banks and Naomi have also since both been removed from WWE’s intro video package, as well as being stripped of their titles.
