Royce Keys made his thunderous WWE debut at The Royal Rumble and recently spoke about his future in the company.

Known as Powerhouse Hobbs in AEW, Royce Keys debuted in WWE in the men’s Royal Rumble match on January 31st and intimidated the current roster.

He even eliminated former World Champion Damian Priest, but was later eliminated by Bronson Reed.

Since his debut, Keys hasn’t been seen on WWE TV. Amid his absence, he discussed his future with WWE on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story? podcast.

Royce Keys Confirms WWE Is His Destination

In the interview, Keys cemented the idea that WWE isn’t a stop along the way in his career. It’s where he plans to retire and leave a legacy behind.

To think that I’m making my dreams come true. I tell people I’m not satisfied with this. I love it – it’s a great introduction. But I plan on rewriting things, being here until I say, ‘You know what, I think I want to step away. I want to help this company in a different way,’ whether that’s backstage or whatever. I have goals and plans that I’ve written out.

Keys went on to say that although he got a better introduction than he had imagined, he would like to entertain more and give more to the business and the WWE Universe.

This is a hell of an introduction – better than what I imagined it was going to be. I knew it was going to be big, but it was even better than I thought. But this isn’t it. I’ve got so much more to give – so much more. I want to entertain even more.
