Roxanne Perez Opens Up About Scary Online Threats

Roxanne Perez

Roxanne Perez has warned people to be careful about what they share online.

Unfortunately, 2025 has seen a rise in wrestling ‘fans’ getting far too close to their in-ring idols for comfort.

In early June, an individual was arrested for allegedly stalking Liv Morgan. It’s alleged that the person travelled to Morgan’s home before attempting to break in. They were eventually arrested outside the WWE Performance Center after being recognised by security staff.

Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley also recalled an incident where a mystery woman turned up at her home, although neither she nor her husband, Buddy Matthews, was at home.

Roxanne Perez Feels Safe In WWE

Also in June, a social media user made threats against Roxanne Perez’s life and published her home address online. WWE subsequently upped security for a meet and greet event involving the star.

During a new interview with the San Antonio Express-News, Perez reflected on the incident and praised WWE’s security team.

“I always heard about these stories, but I never really expected them to happen, especially so soon. The situations like that can be very scary and I think that people should take these things seriously and I think that people should be very careful with what they post online because you don’t know how it can affect other people…

WWE does a great job at protecting us, and regardless of whatever’s posted online or whatever threats happened online, WWE has the best security in the world. So, yeah, I feel very safe with the WWE.”

Roxanne Perez is scheduled to return to action at SummerSlam, where she’ll defend the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Raquel Rodriguez against Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. The pair made the most recent defence of their titles on the Jul 21 edition of Raw, seeing off Lyra Valkyria and Bayley.
