Ronda Rousey To Miss WWE Clash At The Castle?

WWE Clash At The Castle is slated for tomorrow evening in Cardiff, Wales – but Ronda Rousey reportedly won’t be making the trip over!

WWE Clash At The Castle will mark the company’s first major United Kingdom stadium event since August 1992 when they hosted SummerSlam that year from London’s Wembley Stadium. Several top WWE Superstars will be in action; Ronda Rousey won’t be, though.

Per Dave Meltzer in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, ‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’ wasn’t planned to be making the journey to Cardiff “as of midweek”. Plans can change, of course, but it doesn’t look likely that Rousey will be making an appearance at Principality Stadium.

Ronda Rousey has been serving a storyline suspension for the last few weeks, being arrested on last week’s SmackDown but was ultimately released. WWE official Adam Pearce opted against pressing charges, though he will make Ronda face a ‘final judgement‘ on tonight’s blue brand broadcast.

The ‘Rowdy’ WWE Superstar dropped the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Liv Morgan at Money in the Bank, with a subsequent rematch at SummerSlam ending in controversial fashion with a simultaneous pinfall/submission finish. Her Four Horsewomen ally Shayna Baszler will instead challenge Liv for the championship at Clash At The Castle.
