Roman Reigns Confirmed For WWE RAW After Royal Rumble Win

Roman Reigns will be in a celebratory mood after winning the Men’s Royal Rumble match. 

For the second time in his illustrious career, Roman Reigns won the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble match. It was Reigns’ first match in two months after being on the losing team in the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.

In the Men’s Royal Rumble match, Reigns entered at #26, eliminated 5 wrestlers (tied for the most with Oba Femi), and lasted 15:48 in the match. Reigns last eliminated Gunther to win the Rumble.

While WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, acted like he didn’t know when Reigns would appear on WWE TV again, it turns out that fans won’t have to wait too long.

WWE is advertising Men’s Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns and Women’s Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan for the February 2nd edition of Monday Night Raw in Philadelphia.

Reigns and Morgan don’t have to announce which champion they will challenge at WrestleMania 42 yet, but in past years, the Rumble winners have announced their intentions right after the Rumble. It’s something WWE does on occasion because they have the Elimination Chamber PLE on February 28th, and normally, WWE wants fans to know what titles the Rumble winner and Elimination Chamber winner will be going after at WrestleMania 42.

Roman Reigns Feels 25 Years Old Instead Of 40

At the age of 40, Roman Reigns is one of the top stars in WWE with a lot of experience as a main event performer for more than a decade.

For the past two years, since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 in 2024, Reigns has also been out of the WWE/World Title picture.

In an interview before the Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns made it clear he was healthy and ready to go because he feels much younger than he is.

“So, it’s been a tough couple years for me. But at the same time, when you come off such a hell of a run, you gotta kinda just pump the brakes for a second. I got five children at home.

We all wear those two important hats, being a husband and a father. You gotta be able to click in. I’ve been on the road for a long time, so I needed to be able to pull back a little bit. But I’m fully capable. I’m only 40 years old. With all the tech and all the information we have now, I feel like I’m 25 years old. So, I’m still good to go.”

In 2025, Roman Reigns wrestled only 7 WWE matches, and in 2024, it was just 6, so many fans hope he’ll wrestle more often if he becomes a WWE World Champion again.

While nothing is confirmed yet, many people believe that Roman Reigns will challenge CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 42 in a match that would likely main event WrestleMania 42 Sunday, which is something Reigns has done many times in the past.
