Roman Reigns Believes WWE Rival Gets Nervous Around Him
Roman Reigns is arguably the biggest star on the WWE roster currently and has a massive fan-following behind him. Given his stardom, he is sure to have many rivals in the promotion.
Some of his most famous rivals throughout his career have been Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar, while CM Punk and Cody Rhodes have become synonymous with being Reigns rivals since their return to WWE.
He’s taken either of them on in the main events of the last three WrestleManias and is set to face Punk once again at WrestleMania 42. However, before his big match with Punk, he made a bold claim about one of his WWE rivals.

Regins had missed a large chuck of television shows in 2025 as the Tribal Chief was busy filming his upcoming film, Street Fighter, where he will be seen as Akuma. He isn’t the only WWE star in the film though, as it also features Cody Rhodes, who plays Guile.
Speaking to TMZ, Roman responded to Cody comments in a recent interview, where he claimed that people on set ensured that the two wrestlers didn’t cross paths while on set. Reigns claimed that Rhodes might’ve been a little nervous to be around him during his chat.
The rumor is, he was requesting that. He was a little nervous that I was showing up. He got there before me and there was only a couple days of crossover. I think he was a little (nervous). You know what it is. The Tribal Chief comes to town and he gets a little nervous. He doesn’t know what to do,” Roman said. [H/T: Fightful]
Their upcoming film is based on a video game series by the same name and is set to hit the theatres in October 2026. In addition to Roman and Cody, the film also features Jason Momoa, Noah Centino and former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Hirooki Goto.
