Roman Reigns Advertised For WWE Return

The return of the “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns is coming soon since WWE has begun advertising him for upcoming SmackDown events.

It was reported a few days ago that the next match that Roman Reigns has is likely coming at the WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, November 4th.

Reigns, who recently passed three years as the Universal Champion, is the holder of the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. However, he’s also not on television that often, which infuriates a lot of WWE fans.

The last time Reigns wrestled on WWE television was at SummerSlam on August 5th when he successfully defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against his cousin Jey Uso. While Jey nearly won the match, Reigns benefitted from the surprising return of Jimmy Uso, who cost his twin brother Jey the match and the championship.

On the August 11th edition of Smackdown, Reigns appeared also as the family drama continued, but that’s the last time we saw him on WWE television.

Roman Reigns set for WWE Smackdown return in October

The next WWE Premium Live Event is called Fastlane on October 7th. It’s likely that Reigns won’t be on television before that.

There’s a Smackdown show in Milwaukee on October 27. The Fiserv Forum’s official website is advertising Reigns for that event. Others advertised for the show are John Cena, United States Champion Rey Mysterio, Women’s Champion IYO SKY, LA Knight, The Street Profits, Bobby Lashley, Charlotte Flair, Sheamus, and AJ Styles among others.

As for a potential opponent at Crown Jewel, it could be former rival AJ Styles, who Reigns feuded with back in 2016. Styles has recently been involved in Smackdown storylines with Roman’s cousins Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso, so that could lead to the Tribal Chief coming back to deal with Styles.
