Ring Of Honor Final Battle Date & Location Announced

Eddie Kingston Ring of Honor World Champion

Ring of Honor will be back in the spotlight when Final Battle takes place in December.

Tony Khan’s Ring of Honor has confirmed that Final Battle will return on Friday, December 15 at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. Tickets for the event that will air exclusively on HonorClub will go on sale on October 27.

The promotion’s champions are depicted on the poster for the event minus one-half of the ROH Tag Team Champions Adam Cole who will miss the event due to his serious ankle injury. However, his tag team partner MJF is featured indicating that he could be forced to defend the gold once again in a handicap match.

Ring of Honor World Champion Eddie Kingston, ROH Television Champion Samoa Joe, and Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata as well as ROH Women’s Champion Athena, and the Six-Man Tag Team Champions Adam Page & The Young Bucks all feature in the advertising as well.

What happened at Ring of Honor Final Battle in 2022?

Final Battle in 2022 was headlined by Claudio Castagnoli winning the Ring Of Honor World Championship from Chris Jericho bringing The Ocho’s title reign to an end. Samoa Joe retained his ROH Television Title against Juice Robinson and he is now only a matter of weeks away from becoming the longest reigning Television Champion in the company’s history.

The show will likely best be remembered however for the critically acclaimed Double Dog Collar Match between The Briscoes and FTR for the ROH Tag Team Championship which Mark and Jay Briscoe won. The bout was the third in an epic trilogy between the two teams in 2022 and marked the final ROH match for Jay Briscoe before his tragic death in January 2023.
