Ric Flair Unhappy With AEW Role

Ric Flair AEW

Ric Flair was brought into AEW to stand side by side with Sting but after an extended absence from TV, The Nature Boy is not happy.

Tony Khan brought Ric Flair into AEW as a surprise for Sting who had not long announced that his final match would take place at Revolution. Flair stood with his old rival but has been missing from AEW TV for several weeks and was absent when Sting and Darby Allin captured the AEW Tag Team Championship from Big Bill and Ricky Starks.

The celebrations after that bout were cut short when Matthew and Nicholas Jackson attacked the new champions and Darby Allin made clear the following week that at Revolution it would be showtime for The Young Bucks as they’d face Allin and Sting.

Ric Flair Still The Dirtiest Player In The Game?

On Dynamite in Tulsa, Oklahoma Renee Paquette was backstage with Angelo Parker as he got ready for his long-awaited date with Ruby Soho. A car pulled up but it was not for the happy couple and instead out of it came Ric Flair.

Flair told Paquette that he was upset at not being a bigger part of things with Sting’s final match on the horizon. Flair noted that he was not upset with Sting but was looking to explore his options. The Nature Boy walked away before knocking on a door that was answered by AEW EVPs The Young Bucks who welcomed him in before shutting the camera out.

Fans have wondered when Ric Flair was likely to turn on Sting once again and this could have pointed to that happening. Then again, are The Young Bucks about to be suckered in by the dirtiest player in the game?
