Ric Flair Responds To Being Shown On WWE TV

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has issued a public response after being featured on WWE television for the first time since scandal engulfed him.

Ric Flair is undoubtedly one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, with a career that has spanned six decades with dozens of championships won over those years.

For a long time, Flair had been featured in the WWE signature that opens its shows, with his trademark “Woo!” prominent for all to hear. But in September 2021, not long after Flair left the company that changed.

In September 2021 an episode of the documentary series Dark Side Of The Ring aired documenting the goings-on of the infamous ‘Plane Ride From Hell.’ Among allegations made on the show were ones directed at Ric Flair that he had sexually harassed a flight attendant. As a result, Flair was removed from the WWE signature and his merchandise was pulled from WWE’s online store. A CarShield ad campaign featuring the WWE Hall of Famer was also paused.

On the 4th of July 2022 edition of Raw, Ric Flair returned to the signature, something that he addressed on social media:

“The Most Hurtful Moment In My ENTIRE Career Was Losing My Spot. Thank You So Much For Giving Me Back My Dignity & My Life! @WWE @VinceMcMahon #WWERaw”

Ric Flair is set to bring the curtain down on his legendary career with one final match that will take place over SummerSlam weekend as part of the Starrcast convention.
