Ric Flair Makes Surprising WWE Claim
Ric Flair believes WWE stars might be missing out.
In recent years, Ric Flair has largely remained away from WWE as he’s still under an AEW contract. He’s previously said that his All Elite deal prevented him from appearing at WrestleMania 41 and the Hall of Fame ceremony.
Furthermore, Flair was also absent from WWE 2K25, despite appearing in several games in the past.
In a new interview with The eScapist, Flair laughed off his own lack of video game skills, while noting that he didn’t expect to be involved with WWE 2K25 because of his AEW contract. He added that stars don’t earn any money from the game series unless they’re featured on the cover.
“I knew about it, but I didn’t expect to be, as I’m still under contract at AEW. Unless you’re on the cover, you don’t make any money anyway. Maybe 0.3% or some damn thing!”
Ric Flair Thinks Top WWE Star Has Heat With Company
During the same interview, Ric Flair claimed that Randy Orton isn’t being properly utilised by WWE because he’s “made somebody mad” backstage. The WWE Hall of Famer had earlier claimed that Orton is the only wrestler, male or female, on the same level as his daughter Charlotte.
Flair worked with Orton regularly through the 2000s, most notably as part of Evolution between 2002 and 2004.
In recent weeks, Randy Orton has found himself at war with Drew McIntyre. There had been speculation that a singles match between them would be added to Clash In Paris, but the event came and went without them.
