Rhea Ripley Names Her Best Friend In WWE

Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley has accomplished a lot in her WWE career and she’s thankful for her best friend as well as a particular coach that helped her along the way.

It has been an incredible ride for Rhea Ripley in WWE since she signed with the company as a 21-year-old in 2017. Since then, all Ripley has done is win the NXT UK Women’s Title, NXT Women’s Title, Raw Women’s Title, Women’s Tag Team Titles, and the Smackdown Women’s Title at this year’s WrestleMania as well.

As a member of WWE’s The Judgment Day group. Rhea Ripley is often seen hanging out with Finn Balor, Damian Priest and storyline “boyfriend” Dominik Mysterio as well. While The Judgment Day is close on screen, Ripley’s private life is a different story.

Rhea Ripley was a guest on WWE’s After The Bell Podcast with Corey Graves & Kevin Patrick this week. While talking about who gave her advice a lot in WWE, Rhea Ripley credited her best friend Raquel Rodriguez along with former WWE PC coach Scott Taylor aka Scotty 2 Hotty.

“The two people that I really have to give credit to are Raquel Rodriguez. She’s my best friend. We went through so much at the Performance Center together. We were the only two girls in Scotty’s class. Scott is the other one. Every single day at training he would see me be so depressed and upset and question everything.”

“He would take me to the corner of the ring, tell me to wipe my eyes, and give me a little pep talk sort of thing. He’d be like, ‘You’re doing great. Don’t listen to people. You’re doing fantastic. You’re learning, you’re improving, it’s gonna get better, and you’re gonna leave people behind’, and that’s exactly what happened. So Scotty and Raquel are the main two.”
