Rhea Ripley Blasts Critics That Complain About Her

Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley had some strong words for fans who complain about her lack of television matches.

The year 2023 was a career year for Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. After winning the Women’s Royal Rumble from the number one position, Rhea Ripley went on to beat Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 39. The title would become the Women’s World Title soon after.

That WrestleMania match between Rhea Ripley & Charlotte Flair is a match that many fans consider one of the best women’s matches in WWE history as well.

In addition to her success as a singles wrestler, Rhea Ripley has become one of the biggest stars in the entire company. The Judgment Day group that includes Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, WWE Tag Team Champions Damian Priest & Finn Balor, and newcomer JD McDonagh is also featured heavily on Raw every Monday night.

While there is no official leader of The Judgment Day group, there are many times when it appears that Ripley is the voice of reason who appears to be a leader as well.

During an interview on the WWE 2024 Preview show on Peacock, Rhea Ripley fired back at fans who complain she doesn’t wrestle on television enough.

“People like to complain that Mami doesn’t have many matches. Mami doesn’t do too much. She’s too involved with The Judgement Day. But at the end of the day, Mami is busy doing business. I’m running Monday Night RAW, and I’m running my division, and there’s nothing that anyone can do about it.”

Rhea Ripley Praises Ivy Nile

On the Day 1 edition of WWE Raw on New Year’s Day, Rhea Ripley successfully defended her Women’s World Title against Ivy Nile, who was impressive in defeat.

“It was very impressive. Ivy, she hasn’t had many singles matches in general, and for that to be her first one here on the red brand on RAW, on Monday Night Mami. She really did hold her own.”

“And I gotta give it to her, the little pipsqueak, she’s got some fight in her. She caught me off guard a couple of times, but at the end of the day, this is Mami’s world, and you’re just living in it, so I had to get the job done.”
