Real Reason For WWE Star’s Recent Big Change

A WWE veteran changed his look during a recent match.

The first match that took place on WWE Raw in Montreal featured the return of former WWE Champion Sheamus in action against Ivar. The “Brawling Brute” Sheamus made his return to the ring for his first match since August 2023 when he lost to Edge in Toronto.

Sheamus has been out of action since August due to a serious neck injury that nearly ended his career. However, the proud Irishman known for his toughness fought his way back and was cheered loudly throughout his match with Ivar. Sheamus ended up getting the clean win with a Brogue Kick.

There were some changes that fans noticed for Sheamus, who entered the match with his original WWE theme song that fans know well due to lyrics that sound like “lobster head” and “too many limes” even though the singer says different things.

When it comes to ring gear, Sheamus has a different look as far as tights go. Sheamus went on Twitter/X to thank Venum for his custom ring gear.

Thank you @venum for the 1st ever custom WWE branded ring gear… i wear the WWE brand with pride, many more should too.. #representyourteam

Venum is a brand that creates gear for boxing and MMA athletes while also having a partnership with the UFC. Since WWE and UFC have formed TKO Group owned by Endeavor, this certainly could lead to more WWE superstars using Venum gear just like Sheamus does.

Sheamus Had Funny Response To Haters Following WWE Return

During his match on Raw, a lot of fans were happy to see him back, but there were also some haters as well. The reason for the haters is because Sheamus didn’t appear to be as muscular as he was during most of his nearly two-decade-long WWE career. Reacting to those haters, Sheamus wrote on Twitter/X:

“I’m just big boned.”

Well played.
