Real-Life Bloodline Member Teases WWE Arrival: “I Want To Go Over There And Turn That Sh*t Up”
A real-life member of the Anoa’i Bloodline is hell-bent on a potential WWE arrival and not interested in an AEW move. The star in question is Zilla Fatu.
Zilla Fatu belongs to the Samoan Bloodline, as he happens to be the son of the late great Umaga. The 26-year-old star made his pro wrestling debut in 2023 and has gained prominence through his work on the independent wrestling scene over the past few years. In the past several months, Zilla has shared the ring with top stars like MJF and veterans like The Hardy Boyz on the indies as well.
Many fans have been expecting Zilla Fatu to land in either AEW or WWE after he became a promising prospect. Back in 2024, Zilla said he might be in the Stamford-based promotion at some point while talking about how Triple H could incorporate him into the creative:
At some point. I will say maybe. Because if I go in there, you just never know, I might go against them, and they try to recruit me, and I’m like [makes money sign]. I would love to be there with my family, but Triple H, the creative team, the whole WWE organization, they have a way to incorporate me. So whatever they want to incorporate me into the storyline or me doing my own thing or me and R-Truth [laughs], you just never know. So right now, I just can’t call it, but I know that I’m destined to be there.”
The Anoa’i Bloodline member wants to be in the WWE, not AEW
Speaking with Bootleg Kev recently, the real-life Anoa’i Bloodline member, Zilla Fatu was asked if he would join AEW if not the WWE. Zilla refused an All Elite move, as his heart is with the Stamford-based promotion right now, and he wants to build his own brand there:
No. I think my heart is with the E right now. So I’m not gonna break that cycle [because it’s where his family is]. And then not only that, I got unfinished business as far as my dad’s legacy to fulfill. So that’s why. I want to go over there and turn that sh*t up, and at the same time, build my own brand,” said Zilla. [h/t WrestlePurists]
Zilla Fatu was asked if he’d entertain the thought of going to AEW if WWE took too long to sign him:
“No. I think my heart is with the E right now. So I’m not gonna break that cycle [because it’s where his family is].

Only time will tell if Zilla Fatu will join his cousins in the WWE.
