Randy Orton’s Breaks Silence On Pat McAfee Alliance With 3-Word Message

Randy Orton has come out with a statement for the first time since his mystery caller was revealed to be Pat McAfee on SmackDown this past Friday.

Randy Orton first won the Elimination Chamber match and became the #1 contender for the WWE Championship. He is set to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42 and is gunning for his 15th World title.

To do this, Orton needed to go to the dark side and become the best version of himself in his eyes. He turned heel a few weeks ago on SmackDown by annihilating Cody Rhodes, with whom he shared a friendship, following their contract signing. The Viper has been on a mean streak since. He then demolished another of his old friends, Matt Cardona, who tried to talk some sense into Orton after his actions against Rhodes.

Musician Jelly Roll, who is also a friend of Orton’s, was on the receiving end of a brutal RKO when he tried to stop The Apex Predator’s brawl with the WWE Champion.

All the while, Randy Orton was seen talking to a mystery caller, whom he claimed was the one advising him and helping him unleash his dark side. This caller was revealed to be former WWE commentator Pat McAfee, who made his way to the ring to low blow Cody Rhodes on SmackDown this past Friday before cutting a scathing promo slandering the current WWE product.

The reason for the alliance, McAfee said, was to bring the business back to glory through Randy Orton becoming the WWE Champion and ending Cody Rhodes’ title reign that McAfee blames for the current bad state of the business.

Randy Orton Makes Statement On X After Pat McAfee Alliance

The Viper, who drove off with McAfee after the pair beat up Cody Rhodes in the ring, has now taken to X to announce his alliance with Pat McAfee and, in three short words, provide the reasoning behind it.

The caption simply says:

For the business. @PatMcAfeeShow
