What Friendly Advice Did Randy Orton Give Rising WWE Star?

Randy Orton

Randy Orton offered some friendly advice to one of WWE’s biggest rising stars.

As a 45-year-old WWE legend, Randy Orton is one of the oldest wrestlers in the company. However, there was a time in the early 2000s when he was among the youngest to receive advice from his elders.

Early in his career, Orton was known as a hothead who made plenty of mistakes, but, like many people, he learned the right way to live and matured as a person.

In his current role as a WWE locker room leader, Randy Orton has no problem giving advice to younger talent if they ask him for it.

During his appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Randy Orton admitted that he didn’t take care of his body well, which led him to give some advice to the excitable 21-year-old phenom, WWE superstar Je’Von Evans.

“Early on in my career, I was horrible with my body. I was doing all sorts of s**t that I shouldn’t have been doing. I kind of had a reality check. I turned things around. The in-ring work, I make sure that everything that I’m doing, there is a reason why I’m doing it. I’m not just throwing myself around.

I see young guys come up and they don’t hurt. Je’Von Evans, perfect example. He is incredible, but I’ve had a couple of talks with him because he’s doing so many things that nobody else can do and he doesn’t need to do them all every night.” (H/T Fightful)
