Randy Orton has been in the wrestling business for around two and a half decades. He began his WWE journey in 2000 when he signed with the company.

Over the years, Orton has earned himself the monikers The Legend Killer, The Viper, and The Apex Predator. Only a few veteran superstars have been able to reach the heights Orton has achieved during his WWE career.

That said, Randy Orton recently competed in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match in Chicago and walked out as the number-one contender to challenge Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.

Following his victory, Orton appeared on the Elimination Chamber post-show, where he expressed his gratitude for the business and the success it has brought him.

At 45 years old, Orton is still competing at the top of his abilities. While several of his similarly aged peers, such as John Cena and AJ Styles, have stepped away from in-ring competition, Randy Orton, who is only a few years younger, plans to remain in the business for much longer.

Randy Orton Plans To Wrestle For 10 More Years

Speaking during the post-show, the 14-time World Champion gave the WWE Universe a potential timeline for his retirement, stating that his love for the business is so strong that he is willing to wrestle for another 10 years.

I have a lot to give back, and like I said, it’s fulfilling to me. It fills my lungs up with fresh air, man. It makes my heart beat faster, and I love this business. And if I could do it 10 more years, I will, God willing. From 49:33

During the same conversation, Randy Orton also made it clear that he wants to break John Cena’s legendary record of 17 World Championships in WWE.

Orton added that he is targeting a victory over Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania, which would make him a 15-time world champion and move him one step closer to achieving his ultimate goal of surpassing Cena’s record.
