Randy Orton Breaks Silence After Attacking Jelly Roll On WWE SmackDown
Randy Orton attacked Jelly Roll on the latest episode of SmackDown.
The Viper opened the March 27, 2026, episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where he addressed the fans and Cody Rhodes. He claimed he was starting to listen to the voices in his head again after shutting them out for years.
And the voices are telling him that he will become a 15-time world champion at WrestleMania 42. He then warned that he can no longer be held responsible for his actions.
Moments later, Matt Cardona interrupted his segment, seeking retribution for attacking him on the blue brand show last week. Cardona entered the ring and landed a strike to Orton’s head with a microphone.

Later, Orton went to Nick Aldis backstage and demanded a singles match with Cardona, which the SmackDown General Manager granted. The main event then saw Randy Orton vs. Matt Cardona, where Orton targeted Cardona’s already injured arm, and he scored a victory with an RKO.
Shortly after the match ended, Cody Rhodes showed up and stormed the ring. He attacked Randy Orton, and their brawl soon turned very chaotic. Security and officials had to rush in to separate them.
During the chaos, singer Jerry Roll, who defeated Kit Wilson earlier in the show, entered the ring and tried to make peace. However, heel Orton hit him with an RKO instead. Following the events on WWE SmackDown, Randy Orton went online to share a two-word message after attacking Jerry Roll. He shared a picture of the attack on his Instagram and wrote:
“Beautifully Broken.”
Last year, Randy Orton partnered with Jelly Roll to face Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul in a tag team match at SummerSlam, where the babyface duo lost to the heels.
