Randy Orton Sends Warning Ahead of Cody Rhodes Vs Drew McIntyre WWE Title Match

Randy Orton won this year’s Men’s Elimination Chamber match. As a result, Drew McIntyre will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against the number-one contender, The Viper, at WrestleMania 42.

However, ahead of their WrestleMania clash, McIntyre must put his title on the line against Cody Rhodes on the upcoming episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

McIntyre has been creating chaos on SmackDown for the past few weeks. On Saturday at Elimination Chamber, McIntyre interfered in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, attacking Rhodes and causing further disruption.

After Randy Orton secured the victory, an irate Nick Aldis announced that he had seen enough of the Undisputed WWE Champion’s actions.

Due to McIntyre’s repeated attacks on Cody Rhodes, the SmackDown General Manager announced a title match between McIntyre and Rhodes as punishment on SmackDown next week in Portland, Oregon.

Randy Orton Issues A Warning To Drew McIntyre.

While speaking on the Elimination Chamber post-show, Randy Orton was asked how he feels about the upcoming WWE Title match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre. Orton replied that he’s eager to see what happens on SmackDown.

The Apex Predator also put Drew McIntyre on notice, wanting revenge after McIntyre cost him his match against Aleister Black.

I actually didn’t hear that announcement until I was running to this desk just a few minutes ago. There’s a lot that can go on between now and then. Like I said, I heard as I was running down the hallway, is this next week in Portland? Drew McIntyre versus Cody Rhodes for the title?

Joe, I’m going to have to wait and see what happens in Portland. But right now, my sights are set on Drew McIntyre.
