“Clip This Sh*t” – Randy Orton Calls Out Ex-WWE Star Over $25,000 Debt
Randy Orton is not letting past money issues slide.
Since debuting in WWE in 2002, aged 22, Orton has transitioned into one of the biggest and most respected wrestlers in the company while amassing an enviable fortune.
The Viper was involved in a war with Cody Rhodes in the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 42 on April 18, which ended in a loss for him, but he got the last laugh by punting the champion shortly afterward.
However, a couple of days before ‘Mania, Randy Orton attended a promotional event at Culture Kings in Las Vegas, where he revealed something he had probably not spoken about before.
When the host asked him to put together a Mount Rushmore featuring father-son pairs in the Stamford promotion, one of the audience members shouted Ted DiBiase Jr.’s name.
Orton first let out a laugh before claiming that his former Legacy stablemate owed him money.
Ted owes me 25 grand. Clip this sh*t, put it out there. Maybe he’ll hear it and pay me.
Orton’s jab at Ted DiBiase Jr. comes at an inopportune time, as the 43-year-old has only just begun making public appearances following being cleared of criminal charges.
DiBiase was also spotted at WrestleMania 42, a video of which he shared on his social media account recently.
Randy Orton Reveals Details Of His WWE Contract
At 46 years old, Randy Orton is closer to his retirement than farther away from it.
Naturally, during interviews, the subject of his contract often pops up. While at the Culture Kings appearance, he was asked about the duration of his current WWE contract.
Orton revealed that he had four years left in his tenure, while claiming that he might seek a backstage role once he is done with his in-ring career.
I do have four years left on my contract and maybe when that’s over, I’ll get The Undertaker schedule and pop around for WrestleMania every year and then ride until the wheels fall off, literally.
Following his WrestleMania 42 match, questions were raised about his next appearance and how soon it could be.
Speaking on the post-show, WWE backstage interviewer, Jackie Redmond, claimed that the former World Champion did not look in top shape, as he had been dealing with back issues.
As for Randy Orton, I don’t know when we will see him again. It took him an entire 10 minutes to come up the ramp. He was moving slowly. He was limping. He was grabbing his back, but I’ll tell you one thing, Joe Tessitore, he was a blank stare straight ahead. Did not look to his left, did not look to his right, engaged with absolutely nobody. Had to take a second for himself once he got to the top of the stage.
In fact, it honestly looked like he almost lost his balance, like he was a little bit out of it. He looked back at Cody [Rhodes], who was still being attended to by referees in the ring, and then made his way out. So one thing I do know after what we witnessed tonight is that both of those guys are in rough shape.
