Potential Spoilers On Zelina Vega’s Return To WWE TV

It has been reported that Zelina Vega is set to return to WWE TV imminently and details have emerged on creative plans for the SmackDown star.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that Zelina Vega will be returning to WWE on the October 7th edition of SmackDown, which is the season premiere of the long-running show.

Following up on the news, Fightful Select has given details on the creative plans for the star. Seemingly, Vega will be joining Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro in Legado Del Fantasma. While this hasn’t been confirmed, if it is the case then she will be replacing Elektra Lopez, who has been part of LDF’s act in NXT.

Adding fuel to the fire, Zelina Vega has been spotted in Worcester – the site of tonight’s SmackDown – as have Escobar, Wilde, and Toro, while Lopez is notably absent.

Zelina Vega last appeared on the April 11th edition of Raw where she was defeated in just two minutes by Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. The previous week, Vega turned on Carmella, ending a partnership which had saw them capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

It was later reported that the first-ever Queen’s Crown winner had undergone surgery for an undisclosed injury which would sideline her for 6-8 weeks.
