WWE rarely mentions AEW stars on their shows, but Paul Heyman name-dropped not one but two AEW stars on Raw.

The March 23, 2026, edition of Monday Night Raw featured a segment of Paul Heyman alongside Brock Lesnar. Heyman, with Lesnar, cut a promo addressing Oba Femi’s attack on The Beast Incarnate last week.

The Ruler accepted Lesnar’s open challenge on the March 16 edition of Raw and made a statement by taking out Lesnar with a devastating power bomb.

Heyman stated in his promo that the only reason Oba Femi got the upper hand in his confrontation against Lesnar last week was because he was distracted by Seth Rollins. He argued that Lesnar has destroyed some of the business’s elite stars, such as Braun Strowman, AJ Styles, and John Cena.

While mentioning the list of superstars Lesnar has surpassed, Heyman name-dropped Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley) and Bobby Lashley, former WWE stars who are currently in AEW.

WWE rarely name-drops current AEW stars, which is why hearing Dean Ambrose and Bobby Lashley’s names on Raw drew a shocked reaction from the live crowd.

Oba Femi Humiliates Brock Lesnar On WWE Raw

After the promo, Oba Femi came out to confront Brock Lesnar in the ring. Lesnar attempted to take out Femi with an F5, but Femi countered with a clothesline over the top rope, and Lesnar fell out of the ring.

This is the second week in a row that Femi got the last laugh, which clearly pissed Lesnar off. The two stars will meet at WrestleMania 42 for an epic showdown in Las Vegas.
