Paul Heyman Seemingly Confirms Injured WWE Star Will Miss WrestleMania

Paul Heyman WWE

Has Paul Heyman just confirmed that one injured WWE star won’t be back in time for WrestleMania 42?

Paul Heyman declared that The Vision’s plan for the 2026 Royal Rumble was simple. Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, and Austin Theory would work together to ensure that Bron Breakker was the last man standing, booking his place in a world title match at WrestleMania.

Breakker drew number two in the Rumble, pitting him directly against Oba Femi. However, before Breakker made it into the ring, he was attacked by a masked assailant who delivered a very familiar Stomp to the former Intercontinental Champion. This left easy pickings for Femi, who quickly dumped Breakker over the top rope, eliminating him from the Rumble.

This led to a confrontation between Breakker and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce on the February 2nd edition of Raw after Breakker destroyed the ringside area. But that decision came at a heavy price.

Bron Breakker is now out of action after he had surgery for what was described as a “serious hernia.” There is no word on how long Breakker is set to be out of action for, but it seems he might not be back in time for WrestleMania in April.

Will Paul Heyman Have Bron Breakker Back At WrestleMania?

Speaking on Busted Open, Paul Heyman suggested that Breakker might not be back in action in time for WrestleMania, noting there’s never a good time to face time off in the wrestling business:

There is never the right time to get injured. It’s always, ‘Oh man, of all days to get injured, this would be the worst time to get injured,’ and that’s the day you get injured. It would be like breaking your ankle right before our first pay-per-view — or during the first pay-per-view. It’s the same thing. Of all the times to break your ankle, that was the worst time for you to break your ankle.

It’s the same thing for Bronn Breaker headed into a ridiculously enormous spotlight at WrestleMania, and then comes this hernia that he aggravated beyond description to the point where they had to have emergency surgery.

So what’s going to happen is that every day that he’s home right now, it’s eating him up alive. Great. I want that for him.

Heyman noted that he’s continuing to check in on Breakker as he recovers, something he says others neglect to do:

Day one is the easiest because that’s when everybody does it. That’s when everybody puts their tribute and their well-wishes. Everybody has their thoughts and their prayers day one. But where are you day eight? What happens day nine when it’s not 50 people tweeting about you and posting Instagram stories about you and talking about you? What happens when you’re not the topic of conversation? And those are the days where you sit there and you say, ‘I let everybody down. I let myself down. I let my family down.’

I call him every day. Every day to let him know, ‘Hey, you’re one day closer to coming back, and here we go. And it’s going to be time.’
