True Purpose Behind Masked Man Attack On Bron Breakker Revealed

mystery man attacks bron breakker wwe royal rumble

A mystery man attacked Bron Breakker during the Royal Rumble last month.

Breakker was part of the Men’s Royal Rumble match and entered at number two, but before he could even make it to the ring, a masked attacker wearing a black hoodie came out of nowhere and took him out with a stomp to the floor.

A dazed Bron Breakker was then thrown into the ring, allowing Oba Femi, the number one entrant, to easily toss him out and eliminate him from the match.

Following the attack, speculation immediately began about the identity of the mystery man. Fans floated several names, including Seth Rollins, Adam Pearce, Austin Theory, and Logan Paul. However, according to a recent report, Grayson Waller was the person under the mask.

WWE Wants Fans To Believe Seth Rollins Was Bron Breakker’s Mystery Attacker

Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently commented on the angle, stating that WWE’s intention was to make fans believe Seth Rollins was Bron Breakker’s attacker.

The report added that while Grayson Waller may have been under the mask on the night, there is no guarantee that the person who physically carried out the attack will ultimately be revealed as the actual attacker in the storyline.

“The identity of the masked man was supposed to make everyone think it was Rollins… It is not clear who was under the mask, actually doing the stomp, and there is no reason that person would be the one revealed when the time comes.”

“Most of the talk was Grayson Waller under the mask, a name neither confirmed nor denied. Waller was in Saudi Arabia the entire week but wasn’t on SmackDown nor on the main card, but was booked for a dark match.”
