Pat McAfee After CM Punk’s WWE Promo: “I Have GREAT News”
Pat McAfee has responded to CM Punk’s comments directed towards him.
Pat McAfee was revealed as Randy Orton’s mystery caller, the man responsible for The Viper turning heel and becoming the most dangerous version of himself. McAfee announced his alliance with Orton against Rhodes and said that Orton will “save the business” from its current state, which is poor, according to him.
Fans, critics, and WWE themselves did not like this idea, which was later reported to have been decided by TKO CEO Ari Emanuel, who is McAfee’s agent.
CM Punk opened Raw this past Monday and first fired shots at Roman Reigns to continue their feud going into WrestleMania 42.
He did so by taking many names associated with Reigns in pure pipebomb fashion, a shoot promo style Punk made popular with his original pipebomb in 2011, where he expressed his grievances with the business on live TV.
When he was done throwing barbs at Reigns, Punk shifted his focus to Pat McAfee and his involvement in the Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes WrestleMania 42 match build-up.
The Second City Saint insulted the former WWE commentator by calling him MAGA-fee and demanded that his bosses lower WrestleMania 42 ticket prices instead of trying to sell more tickets by including Pat McAfee.
Later on the McAfee show, the former NFL star gave his response. After this, McAfee has taken to X to post another response to Punk’s pipebomb promo.
Pat McAfee Hits Back At CM Punk on X
On his X post, Pat McAfee continued to push Randy Orton by listing out all of The Apex Predator’s titles and notable achievements.
He also used profanity against Punk and said that he was not “worth the price” of the WrestleMania 42 ticket.
