Paige Reveals Potential Plans For WWE Return
Paige is open to returning to WWE.
Paige left WWE in June 2022 after her contract expired and later joined AEW in September of that year. She spent three years with the company before parting ways in March 2025, citing a loss of passion for wrestling at the time.
Later in 2025, Paige rediscovered her passion for the business and decided to pursue a return to in-ring competition. Many fans expected her long-awaited comeback to take place at the Royal Rumble earlier this year, but that appearance never materialized.
In recent weeks, Paige has fueled speculation by sharing videos of herself training and preparing for a return to the ring.
During a recent interview with MuscleManMalcom, Paige addressed the possibility of returning to WWE and discussed her plans if it happens. She revealed that she would like to form a tag team with AJ Lee. If AJ Lee is unavailable, Paige said she would choose Rhea Ripley as her preferred tag team partner.
“AJ, baby, of course. And if I couldn’t have my girl AJ, my fairy godmother, I would pick Rhea Ripley. Sorry, IYO, I might steal her off you.”

Paige Could Return To WWE As NXT’s Next GM
The NXT general manager role was recently vacated following the exit of Ava, the daughter of The Rock, who chose not to renew her WWE contract. Shawn Michaels then named Robert Stone as the interim authority figure for NXT.
Booker T on his Hall of Fame podcast addressed Ava’s departure and floated an idea that Saraya could potentially return to WWE in a non-wrestling role, possibly as an on-screen general manager in the future.
