Paige Delivers Statement Win On WWE SmackDown Before Crucial Championship Week

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Brie Bella and Paige, have been on an extremely busy run ever since they won the titles at WrestleMania 42. They’ve defended their titles since then and were involved in huge tag team action tonight.

The Women’s Tag Team Champions were scheduled to face the team of Giulia and Kiana James tonight as they prepared for a gruelling coming week, which might feature two title defenses for them.

The duo is set to defend the championships against The Judgment Day next week on Monday Night RAW,. If they manage to retain the belts, they have another title defense coming up at Saturday Night’s Main Event against The Irresistible Forces.

Paige picks up a huge win on WWE SmackDown

They took on Giulia and Kiana James tonight and faced a tough challenge from the former Women’s United States Champion and her partner. Both teams looked evenly matched for much of the bout, but the champions were more in sync.

Giulia and Kiana lacked the teamwork needed to beat the champions, as evidenced by James sending Paige out of the ring, but she inadvertently smashed her into Giulia, taking her out of the match.

Brie took advantage of the distraction and smashed Kiana’s face on her knee before tagging Paige in. The Anti-Diva hit her Rampage DDT on Kiana James to pick up the win and gain a moment ahead of a heavy WWE week for them.
