Oba Femi Makes Blockbuster Announcement After Squashing Ex-WWE Champion On RAW
WWE WrestleMania remains the biggest wrestling event of the year, a stage where stars are made, and this year delivered once again on that front in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The opening match of Night Two of WrestleMania 42 saw Oba Femi take on Brock Lesnar, in one of the most highly anticipated matches of the show, and he made light work of The Beast Incarnate in his final match.
Lesnar’s defeat at Oba’s hands in his eventual retirement match turned The Ruler into a bona fide superstar on the main roster, and he opened last week’s show and announced that he’s here to stay on the main roster.
Oba Femi squashes Grayson Waller on WWE RAW
Tonight, he wrestled in his first match since defeating Lesnar after Grayson Waller got into an argument with Adam Pearce backstage over not receiving enough chances. He took shots at Oba during their conversation without realizing the Ruler was standing behind him.
After hearing his comments, Oba asked Pearce to put them in a match on WWE RAW tonight, and they met each other in the ring. Femi manhandled Waller throughout their time in the ring and didn’t allow him to get any considerable offense.
He took him out with a suplex bomb before knocking him out with a flying European Uppercut. He followed that up with a Fall from Grace and pinned Waller with ease. Oba got on the mic after his match, where he made a huge announcement.
The former NXT Champion announced that the Oba Femi open challenge begins tonight and is open for anyone from the WWE locker room. He issued a warning to anyone who would step up to him, claiming that he would not show mercy on any of his opponents.
