NXT Star Tells Main Roster “Everyone Should Be Worried”

NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez has issued a stern warning to the female competitors on WWE’s main roster.

The 22 year-old had already been crowned the inaugural ROH Women’s Champion before joining WWE and has gone from strength to strength since a debut victory over Sloane Jacobs on the 15th April 2022 edition of NXT Level Up.

Now into her second reign as NXT Women’s Champion, Perez has tasted main roster action having featured in both the 2023 and 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match but went undrafted during the 2024 WWE draft in April.

Perez has since confirmed her desire to make an impact on the WWE main roster in the near future and put the current Raw and SmackDown Superstars on notice with a firm statement during a recent chat with Instinct Culture’s Denise Salcedo:

“Obviously, that is the goal, of course. Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be on the main roster and start creating a legacy for myself. Now, I’ve realized to take my time.

I feel like I’m already creating a legacy for myself. Two-time NXT Women’s Champion and I’m in the first-ever NXT-TNA crossover match. This is awesome stuff. If I’m just scratching the surface right now, I can’t imagine the things I’m going to be able to accomplish, whether that be in a few months, next year, two years.

I know that once I make it up there, everyone should be worried because I’m going to takeover”.

NXT Debut Of Jordynne Grace Surprised Roxanne Perez

Before Perez can consider any main roster ambitions she must first face the formidable challenge of TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace in a highly anticipated bout for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground on 9th June.

Grace emerged as a shock contender for the title on the 28th May edition of NXT with Perez recently admitting that she did not know about the surprise appearance ahead of time.
